IC S* Sunnanås Bacchus
Meet our first Devon-boy, a beautiful redpointed boy from Sweden. On our searching for finding a boy to mate Lazy with some years ago now, we came over this boy who was for sale. And we did totally fell in love with this charmer!! The waiting time was long before he finally arrived, but at the same time the happiness was also bigger when the time was there.
Bacchus is a redpointed boy after IC S* Kurbit’s Puff and EC S* Fiddlestix Kind of Special. He was born in the cattery S* Sunnanås in Sweden, 11th of January 2000, and has bloodtype A.
As mentioned we had big expectations for some lovely babies after him and Lazy, but Lazy didn’t want him as her boyfriend; she is a very special lady with her own mind!;o) So it was only with our plans, but Bacchus did get some babies afterall, though with two other girls, and today we have his grandchild, Jumala, here with us. With the same lovely temper as her grandfather.
Bacchus is a beautiful, big guy with an amazing temper. With his blue eyes and the redpointed colour, along with the great temper, he gets all to fall in love.
After being fertile for a while, he was neutered with the hope of stop marking his territory, something he still has not quit doing, they are strong these instincts……And he still has to show who is “the Boss”, and is not the one who fears a fight. But mostly of the time there is peace and idyll in the home, and he is the “cozyboy” in the house.
At the same time he was neutered, the appetite also increased again, and he still L-O-V-E-S food, so he is much rounder in the forms now than earlier. If he was not so found of food, he could have been a nice showneuter, because he has a nice type, a little bit high set ears, but a great head and profile. And he loves all kind of attention and had great times as shows when he was fertile.
Now he is enjoying the lazy neuterlife here in our home, and loves to be outside in the outyard on hot, sunny days.
